Chlamydia Symptoms

If you are infected with Chlamydia, you may not experience any symptoms at all, which is why it is often transmitted from one sexual partner to another without either of them knowing. However, in some cases symptoms can occur. These include:

Men

• Discharge from the penis or a burning sensation when urinating.
• Burning and itching around the opening of the penis.
• Pain and swelling in the testicles are uncommon.

Women

• Abnormal vaginal discharge or a burning sensation when urinating.
• Lower abdominal pain, low back pain, nausea, fever, pain during intercourse, or bleeding between menstrual periods.

Chlamydia Treatments
