MyOnlineDoctor's Patient Charter outlines the provision of healthcare services as audited by the Care Quality Commission. The Charter includes a Patient guide and a Statement of Purpose as required by the CQC for registration as a Mobile Doctor Service (Independent Medical Agency). Registered in 2009, MyOnlineDoctor was one of the first online clinics to obtain Care Quality Commission registration and has had numerous audits by a CQC officer.

Statement of purpose

The statement of purpose outlines MyOnlineDoctor’s aims and objectives with regards the patient health care. It lists the provider's details and those of the registered manager as well as the provider's legal status. All the conditions which can be treated through the provider’s online consultation service are in accordance with MyOnlineDoctor's registration as an IMA.

As a private healthcare provider based in England, MyOnlineDoctor is obliged by law to be registered with the Care Quality Commission to ensure quality of its provision on patient care. A patient guide is required to inform patients of the terms and conditions and complaints procedure. It also outlines the requirements for patient satisfaction surveys used to provide feedback to the CQC on the quality of services provided.
